The Indomie distribution company is look for:

5 TEACHERS- SALESPERSONS m/f -ACCRA

Ideally you are around 26-35 yrs old

You must have a sincere desire to step into sales

Qualification: Must have minimum an HND

Experience: 0-5 years in sales- ideally selling to educational institutions

Location: Accra -opposite GTUC but you will be visiting schools all over Accra in your region (this is why we are hiring 5 people) and you will be mostly working from home -so you need to have a laptop

Been extraordinary and graceful in deliverying a sales-pitch is the major skill for this job – not all sales people can do it

Responsibilities:

The job is basically selling indomie to schools to be used for school lunches (someone else will do the deliveries- don’t worry). In most of Africa it is very common to offer indomie noodles to kids as part of their lunch…

So you will mostly selling to Principals and thus you need to have superb manners

You will:

  1. In initial stage you will be developing the business by acquiring new schools as clients
    • This is something that can be done from your home
    • you need to develop clients as a first priority
    • so, we care about been in as many schools as possible than caring for a sales target the first year
    • But, you will have a number of schools you can acquire per week as a target
  2. We will train you in sales
  3. You should also be developing your existing accounts and find cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
  4. You might be responsible to redistribute goods to these schools or oversee their delivery
  5. You have superb Time Management and Plannings skills and you can organize all appointments
  6. Consistently reviewing and recording your daily sales and stock levels, advising on sales and operations, and engaging them on a common platform.
  7. Development of monthly sales plans of all products to meet the sales target of all SKUs of MPL in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan. (you do know what SKU and MPL are- right?)

Skills Required:

  1. Aaaamazing + convincing sales-pitch <=== this is extremely important
  2. Superb Manners- you will be talking to Principals and other very educated personnel
  3. Team management and Leadership
  4. Proactive and Result Oriented

Monday- Friday

Salary

2500-4.000 ghs depending on experience-can go a bit higher for high calibre candidates

These money includes your transport costs to visit schools and internet/calls to schools

possibility for KPI bonus after the 1st year

*this is a brand new roles for Indomie – the client, so they just have a budget to start and they will redefine compensation in due time… they need to redefine things like tnt budget, commission, kpis, and other possible allowances- so be patient please
