hands-on Accountant M/F
must be ACCA II or ICAG II – Junior CA preferred
for its Accra Head Office
must be ACCA or ICAG II – III / CA will be preferred
Ideally (but not a must) s/he has experience with FMCG industries and you are hands-on with Tally ERP
.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Recording Sales, Purchase, Journal entries.
- Reconciling accounts receivable & payable
- Maintaining customer age analysis
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Looking after Import and Export documentations, payments & other necessary requirements
- Submit/update collection reports on a daily basis & ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Can call up the customers and make follow-up on receivables
- Handling Petty Cash
- Accurate payment processing and Petty Cash Control
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Monitor inventory levels
- Documentation & Filling
- Can work on ERP Software FOCUS
- perform any other work assignment assigned to him/her

Minimum Qualifications
3 to 6 years of experience – ideally for an FMCG company
Bachelor’s or Master’ degree in accounting & finance
Experience in Tally ERP
ACCA or ICA Level 2 completed or Higher
Excellent Knowledge of MS Office & especially Excel – ideally you can work with Macros.
Analytical and Detail-oriented.
Strong work ethic, team player, time management skills, and Organizational skills
And of course an aaaamazing personality and respect for all colleagues

Salary
Target Salary is 3-5.000 net depending of experience and skillset.
