For a well-known European company, we are looking for:
A French-speaking (fluent) Sales Engineer
Based anywhere in ECOWAS countries, but preferably Ghana
Who is responsible for interacting with existing customers and expanding our customer base in West Africa
The position entails:
- Marketing the concept of a direct drive solution to End-Users, OEM’s and Consultants
- Prepare proposals/quotes and the follow up thereof
- Conduct dimensioning of the drive system
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and creating drive solution awareness
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrate product functionality
- Extensive travelling in Africa
Key performance areas include:
- A self-motivated individual
- A person who can take initiative
- Someone who has the ability to operate independently
- A team player
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical qualification – N4 (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent technical experience
- At least 3-5 years of sales experience with in the transmission industry
- Fluent in French
- Basic computer skills in using MS Office: Word, Excel & Outlook
