For a local growing construction firm, we are looking for a young and dynamic


 Responsible for coordinating the human resource and administrative functions of the branch.

.Preferably female -but NOT a must- between 27– 35 yrs (+/- a few years) of age.

Experience with reorganization is also a strongly welcomed plus.

—-as a superstar junior HR Manager/ess: MUST: 3+ yrs of HRM experience

—-as a senior HR Manager/ess: several years of experience, with ideally professional certifications,  a masters/mba and an aaaamazing list of accomplishments

Experience with Labor Laws and Disputes is a welcomed plus

You must be someone who can ‘roll your sleeves’ and do the job- so attitude is important

Professional HR certification seems to be standard these days and we have seen it reflecting on the quality of the candidates


A partial list of tasks/ responsibilities:


  • Maintain the implementation of HR policies within the branch.
  • Administer and enforce HR policies and procedures in accordance with organizational goals.
  • Run our HR Department including recruitment of staff, payroll and benefits administration, employee records maintenance,  etc
  • Coordinate staff orientation and training programs.
  • Of course, you standardize our recruiting and interviewing program (exit interviews too)
  • Also coordination field staff recruitment.
  • You benchmark market salaries on a regular basis
  • Obviously, you train your own stuff
  • You ‘own’ the Performance Management Process and you train Managers/ Supervisors on how to do it
  • Coordinate our official events and meetings
  • Arrange staff travel and accommodation logistics when required
  • you will deal with all Labor Disputes if any, and resolve them in a manner of dignity for all parties involved
  • you constantly optimize all of the above


Of course please, you possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and outstanding interpersonal skills


work hours

Monday- Friday plus half Saturday


minimum education

a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field  – e.g. organizational psychology

ideally knowledge of the Ghana Labor Laws

Finally, a professional HR certification will be an advantage- almost expected if you are a senior candidate



max 6000 net for a junior HRM person (negotiable) depending on your professional experience.

and negotiable again 9-10 k ghs net for a senior person (if you are really wow might be negotiate)

wow means that you have recent experience in the construction industry and ideally with a few reorganizations

medical insurance: you will need to set it up for the whole company
