For a HealthCare and Hospital facility,  we are looking for a young and dynamic


.Preferably female between 30– 45 yrs (+/- a few years) of age.


The role reports Directly To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

 And directly Supervises:

i. Human Resource (HR) Operations Officer

ii. Head of Customer Care Team  

 ii. Head of Security 

MUST: 5+ yrs of experience as HR Manager/ess

Experience with Labor Laws and Disputes is a welcomed plus


A partial list of tasks/ responsibilities:

The PURPOSE of this role is to work closely with the Hospital’s Management, Leadership, and key stakeholders to develop relevant people interventions and solutions as well as coordinate and supervise human resource activities of the Hospital for the optimum utilization of employees’ potential in achieving the strategic objectives of the Hospital.

 General Duties/Responsibilities

  • Advises Management on all HR issues.
  • Assists recruit, select and place competent job candidates for the Hospital.
  • Designs, implements, and regularly reviews suitable HR systems and strategies to utilize employee potentials and promote healthy employee relations to achieve competitive advantage for the Hospital.
  • Provides guidelines to all Departmental Heads on Human Resource issues.
  • Supervises the implementation of Human Resource policies and monitors line operations to ensure adherence to HR policies throughout the Hospital.
  • Develops and implements human resource information systems to facilitate storage, identification, and retrieval of employee personal and career data.

Supervisory Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assigns duties to and monitors activities of team members to ensure achievement of performance standards.
  • Identifies the training needs of immediate team members and organizes or recommends appropriate training for them.
  • Assesses the performance of immediate team members and reviews those for lower-level employees.
  • Administers discipline affecting immediate team members in accordance with the company’s disciplinary code and procedure.

Other Duties

  • Performs any other official duties that may be assigned from time to time.




  • Maintains contacts with all Departmental and other Line Managers/Supervisors on matters concerning recruitment selection, training and development, performance appraisal, employee relations and discipline.
  • Maintains contacts with all staff on regular basis to explain policies.


  • Maintains contact with the Labour Department/National Labour Commission on relevant and related HR workmen matters.
  • Maintains contact with SSNIT on employee social security issues.
  • Maintains contact with Consultancy firms and relevant Training Institutions/Entities to arrange and co-ordinate training programmes for staff.


  • Responsible for maintenance of corporate and employee confidential data.
  • Responsible for the conservation and efficient utilization of vehicles, computers, and office equipment assigned to the department.
  • Responsible for the management of budget for the department.


 Minimum Education

  • University degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent.



  • Understanding of the role of HR in a modern organization.
  • Ability to design and implement HR systems, strategies, and policies.
  • Ability to prepare employee job descriptions.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and follow up to monitor people and work activities.
  • Ability to design and implement control systems.



  • Assertiveness – ability to articulate views, decisions and policies and stick to them where necessary.
  • Trustworthiness – ability to conduct self in a manner that elicits trust, respect, and confidence of the workforce.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to relate effectively to people at all levels.
  • High level of integrity

work hours

Monday- Friday

occasionally you might work 4 hours on a Saturday or Sunday and you will be compensated 200 cedis net for these 4 hrs



max 5000-5500 net depending on your professional experience.
